Midtown Residents Association

The Midtown Residents Association, was formed in 1994 out of a concern for maintaining the quality of life in our Midtown neighborhood. The Association, based in Palo Alto, Calif., is an active group of residents and businesses of Palo Alto's Midtown neighborhood.

About MRA

The Midtown neighborhood is defined as the area from Oregon Expressway to East Meadow on east side of Middlefield and Oregon to Loma Verde on the west side of Middlefield and from Alma Blvd. to 101. All Midtown residents are encouraged to join and actively participate in the Association.

 The Association's key focus areas are:

  • Traffic, parking, and pedestrian friendliness

  • Physical appearance of the Midtown commercial area

  • Scale, convenience, and variety of local businesses

  • Neighborhood involvement in planning

  • Neighborhood parks

Our priorities are:

  • Neighborhood Emergency Preparedness

    • ESV program and awareness

  • Traffic/Bicycle friendliness
